Handlebars
Y Bars
The letter Y refers to the shape of the handlebars. By dividing handlebars into Y and T bars, we intentionally avoid the inaccurate classification into so-called street and park handlebars, where T-bars are automatically considered street bars and Y-bars are considered park bars. That is not the case, however. It is the size of the handlebars rather than their shape that determines their primary intended use, i.e., street bars or park bars.
In terms of strength, Y-bars will always be stronger than T-shaped bars, regardless of the material used.
